CGHS PTSO Newsletter
Welcome, Get Involved & What’s Ahead!
Hello CGHS PTSO Family!
A new month is here, and we’re excited to keep building momentum at Coral Glades! Whether you’re a new PTSO member, have been with us from the start, or are simply looking for ways to get more involved, we’re glad you’re here. September gave us a great start with our first General Meeting and successful pizza sales, and now we’re looking ahead to more opportunities to connect, contribute, and support our CGHS community. Here’s what’s happening with your PTSO this month - and a few ways you can be part of it!
Hello, October! 🐾🖤
As we kick off a new month, we want to take a moment to welcome our newest PTSO members and thank everyone who has joined, supported, volunteered, purchased pizza, shared an idea, or helped spread the word so far this school year.
Our first General PTSO Meeting was held on September 22, and we’re excited about continuing to build a PTSO that brings together our families, faculty, staff, students, and community to support Coral Glades.
🍕 Pizza Sales Are Going Strong! Our pizza sales have been a success so far - thank you to everyone who has supported them! These sales are an important part of our fundraising efforts, and we need volunteers to help keep them going.
Whether you can help with one sale or several, we’d love to have you! Volunteers help with setup and sales, and every extra set of hands makes a difference. Interested in volunteering? Reach out to the PTSO and we’ll get you connected with an upcoming date.
🏆 Faculty & Staff Membership Challenge Our faculty and staff membership drive is underway! The CGHS department with the most PTSO memberships by October 9 will receive lunch on the PTSO! We can’t wait to see which department takes the win.
💡 Your Ideas Belong Here! We’re looking for fresh fundraising ideas and new ways to support our school community - and some of our best ideas can come from YOU.
Getting involved doesn’t have to mean taking on a huge commitment. We need people willing to come to meetings, share ideas, offer input, volunteer when they can, and help us turn good ideas into action.
Have an idea for a fundraiser, event, partnership, or something you’d simply like to see PTSO do? Bring it to the table!
📅 Coming Up • SAC Meeting: October 5 at 3:00 PM in the Den • Next PTSO General Meeting: November 17 in the SPOT Office, following Coffee with Kaplan
And if you haven’t joined the PTSO yet, it’s not too late! Membership is one of the easiest ways to support our work and help us grow our impact at Coral Glades.
There’s a place for everyone to contribute—whether it’s your membership, your time, your ideas, or simply helping us spread the word.
Connect. Contribute. Get Involved.
